CHIHUAHUA GROWTH CHART
Please be aware of the fact that the growth chart does not work out very well in some cases.
The birth weight is important and after that genetics takes over and the breeder must know
what the breeding pair produces. We feed our nursing moms heavily and include vitamin
supplements to keep them strong and healthy. Our babies are heavier and healthier by 2 to
3 weeks than puppies that are not raised this way. They are smarter and more social as a
result. Most of our puppies will be the small 4 pound dogs with some smaller and some a
little larger. Knowing the breeding pair is the most important thing as a breeder, and we will
always give you our best educated guess as to a puppies adult weight.
