We are a small home based family breeder situated on 20 acres in Eastern Tennessee near the Smoky Mountains. We breed dogs as a hobby. Our passion is Chihuahua's and Italian Greyhounds. We strive to develop well socialized puppies that meet the breed standards. Our adults get to take turns hanging out in the house with us, and spend time with the family. We give our dogs the best food available, NuVet vitamins which is the best available, and lots of love and attention. |
| We only breed dogs that we consider to be top quality. Not only do we breed for conformation but personality is equally important. We try to breed our Chihuahua's for the smaller size of 5 pounds or less, but 6 pounds is the breed standard. My favorite pet is almost 5 pounds and she is a very small dog. Chihuahua's are the smallest dog in the toy breed. Chihuahua's are registered with the Kennel Clubs as a Toy Breed, they do not recognize T-Cup, Pocket size, Tiny, Toy, Miniature, or Standard. These are tags that breeders have attached to the Chihuahua to describe a mature weight. Our Italian Greyhounds are typically small around 10 pounds, but they can vary. 15 inches is the AKC standard height with no weight restriction. Our puppies usually will be under the standard. Italian Greyhounds are sight hounds in a miniature size. In appearance they closely resemble Greyhounds but are much smaller in all proportions. IG'S usually range from 13 to 15 inches in height, but 16 to 19 inches is not uncommon. Weight can range from seven to fifteen pounds with ten pounds being the average. |
